OUR STORY. OUR MISSION. OUR FIGHT.

Warrior Foundation was born from lived experience and built to raise awareness for Bowel (Colon) Cancer and Mental Health.

Meet Luke…

Hey, I’m Luke Johannessen, the founder of Warrior Foundation and Warrior Clothing Co.

At 37, I’ve fought battles I never saw coming—stage 3 Bowel Cancer, stage 4 Lung Cancer, Addiction, and the darkest corners of my own mind.

I know what it feels like to hit rock bottom, to wonder if you’ll ever get back up.

But I also know the power of resilience—the strength that lives inside each of us, even when we don’t believe it’s there.

Warrior Foundation was built from that reality. Not just to share my story, but to help others through theirs.

To raise awareness for Bowel (Colon) Cancer and the importance of early detection.

To create space for honest conversations about mental health.

And to remind people that no matter how hard it gets—your story isn’t over.

WHY THIS FOUNDATION EXISTS

Too many people are diagnosed too late.

Too many people suffer in silence.

Too many people feel alone in their fight.

Warrior Foundation exists to change that through awareness, education, advocacy, and community.

Because Bowel (Colon) Cancer and Mental Health both deserve more conversation, more support, and more action.

OUR MISSION

The Warrior Foundation exists to raise awareness, provide education, and build a supportive community for individuals and families facing physical and mental health battles.

Our initial focus is on increasing awareness of bowel cancer, particularly in younger Australians, while breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health and encouraging people to seek support when they need it.

Through education, advocacy, community partnerships, and fundraising, we are working towards providing free bowel cancer screening kits to Australians who do not currently qualify for government-funded screening programs, because early detection saves lives.

We believe that everyone is fighting a battle of some kind, and no one should have to face it alone.

Together, we rise.

OUR VISION

A future where no life is lost due to a lack of awareness, delayed diagnosis, or limited access to support.

We envision a community where people understand the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer, feel empowered to prioritise their health, and know that asking for help with their mental wellbeing is a sign of strength, not weakness.

A future where every person facing a physical or mental health challenge feels supported, connected, and understood.
